Announcing the Summer Thunder Series Presented by A & A Manufacturingthunderbird

Muskegon, MI – April 30th, 2018
We are pleased to announce something big for our late model drivers! Jim Fairbanks at A & A Manufacturing has come on board to sponsor a mini-series revolving around four independent, special events during the Thunderbird Raceway racing season. The Summer Thunder Series presented by A & A Manufacturing will take place over four race weekends, this Saturday, May 5th, Saturday June 23rd, Saturday September 1st, and concludes on Saturday September 8th at our season ending staple, Rolling Thunder.
A & A Manufacturing has put up a point fund for the top 5 finishers over the course of the season. Payout is as follows:
1st – $1,000
2nd – $600
3rd – $500
4th – $400
5th – $300
Winning payouts thus far for each of our independent late model specials are as follows:
Thunderstruck 35 (Saturday, May 5th) – $2,500 to win
Haulin’ Fast 35 (Saturday, June 23rd) – $2,000 to win
Full Throttle 40 (Saturday, September 1st) – $2,000 to win
Rolling Thunder (Saturday, September 8th) – TBA
